But that doesn’t mean I haven’t been doing stuff. Here are some scary ducks I got lately:

My real estate classes start on Monday, that should be an experience. I haven’t had a job or went to classes (except for craft) for 18 years, everyone involved should be frightened. I have been prereading one of the class books….. my brain is definitely getting a work out.
I’m not much for posting photos of myself. But here is a recent one:

Gee, aren’t I cute. I’m finding as I get older, I don’t mind so much having people see my picture. I used to hate any and all pictures of myself…. now I kind of just say “nyeah, whatever”.
Went to the endocrinologist last week, my blood tests for my thyroid are within normal but “the lump” isn’t shrinking any. So we are upping my meds and will have another appointment in December to see if it shrinks any. If not, probably another ultrasound in the beginning of 2009 and then I will get the lump removed. Yep, that will fun. Lets hope it shrinks all on its own.
We went to Dorney Park during Tropical Storm Hanna. Not because we are specifically crazy, but because we were counting on the weather people to be wrong. It rained, and rained. There wasn’t thunder and lightning, just rain. No wind, just rain. It was a “company picnic”, meaning my husband’s employer was picking up the tab, so it is not like we were out money (although they did give us rain checks). It was just odd. The kids spent most of the day at the water park, because well the whole place was a water park. We sat at the bingo tent and played bingo. Because it wasn’t raining in the bingo tent, much. The bus “died” 6 times on the way home. A fun time was had by all.
I looked at a house today. Listed as a “flip house”, but really wouldn’t be a flip house for us. Is in our price range but in a million dollar development. It has marble floors everywhere and crystal chandeliers everywhere and spider webs everywhere. Possibly the most beautiful and odd house I’ve ever seen in my life. It is like old world Italian meets the Brady Bunch, as the house hasn’t been updated much since the 70s. Even has a recessed wall turntable. I don’t know what to think, I don’t have very good judgement as far as to what is practical is, I just look and like. I liked.
And I have jury duty tomorrow. I hope I don’t get picked. I don’t feel very objective lately.
