I recently ordered a magazine subscription to Marie Claire Idees. I’ve heard that this is such a cute magazine with great ideas for projects, I can’t wait to get it. Of course, it is French language…. but I am more of a visual person when it comes to doing crafts and stuff so I am hoping it will be no problem.

Confessions of a flea market, thrift shop, and garage sale junkie. I don’t like to buy things retail. It seems wasteful and crazily expensive, especially when you look at the amount of stuff that people throw out in the trash, or give to Goodwill, or sell at garage sales and flea markets for pennies on the dollar. I set out on my journey of thrifting, originally looking for things to resell on ebay or use as materials in my arts and crafts. Now, it is a way of life for me.

Mod 70s tin tray, vintage pinking shears and yarn cutter in box, knitting needles in case and stitch holders, wooden purse handles, and pompon maker= total $8

Hopefully, this will be my new home for art, crafts, and thrift store finds.
